Daisy Didn’t Do It is a short film capstone project that focuses on themes of anger and abusive relationships.
Recently dead protagonist relives his last few days of life to figure out who killed him. Reminded of joyful and painful memories with his partner, the good and the violent days, he becomes increasingly convinced his partner killed him.
As 1st AD for this project I was in charge of script breakdowns for each department, storyboards, shotlists and organising call sheets during pre-production, and ran the set during production by tracking and relaying daily progress to ensure the project stayed on time.
If there were a chance to go back and change one thing from this project, it would be to allow more time in the schedule for the actors, director and DoP to experiment with the project.
